This site is a small repository of Mac OS X and Darwin software and information. It's an effort to share the information and tips I've garnered using Mac OS X, in an effort to make others' lives easier. For the Public Beta of Mac OS X, I ported a few UNIX programs, and posted them here. I've stopped doing that -- there are too many useful programs for small individual ports to be practical. I'm now working on contributing ports to fink, a Mac OS X / Darwin tool that downloads, patches (if necessary), compiles, and installs UNIX software automatically. Note: Darwin is the BSD/Mach core underlying Mac OS X, also available separately as an open source operating system.
